Scripture On The Go does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data whatsoever. The app operates entirely offline. No internet connection is ever required or established.

1. Introduction

ARK Foundry Group LLC ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), a limited liability company registered in the United States, operates the Scripture On The Go mobile application for Apple Watch ("App", "Service").

This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding information in connection with your use of the App. By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

This policy applies to all users of the App worldwide, including users in the European Union and European Economic Area ("EU/EEA"), the United Kingdom, California, and all other jurisdictions.

2. Data Controller Information

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the data controller is:

Because we do not collect, process, or store any personal data, the obligations that typically apply to data controllers under the GDPR and similar regulations do not arise in connection with your use of this App.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Scripture On The Go is designed with privacy by default. We do not collect, process, store, transmit, or have access to any of the following:

Personal identifiers including name, email address, phone number, or username
Location data of any kind including GPS, IP address, or approximate location
Device identifiers including UDID, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprints
Usage data, behavioral data, or interaction analytics
Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to us
Reading history, bookmarks, or favorites stored outside your device
Health, fitness, or biometric data
Financial, payment, or transaction information
Communications or messages of any kind
Any other information that could be used to identify you

4. How the App Works

All Bible content is stored locally on your Apple Watch at the time of installation. The App never establishes an internet connection. All features including reading, searching, bookmarking, the Find Help index, and translation switching function entirely on your device without any data leaving it.

Any user-generated content within the App, such as bookmarks and favorite verses, is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device storage mechanisms. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, data controllers must identify a legal basis for processing personal data. Because Scripture On The Go does not process any personal data, no legal basis is required. We include this section for transparency and completeness.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent.

Because we do not collect or process any personal data, these rights cannot be meaningfully exercised in connection with our App. However, if you believe we hold any data about you, you may contact us at support@arkfoundrygroup.com and we will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the EU, a list of supervisory authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information. Because Scripture On The Go does not collect, sell, share, or disclose any personal information, these rights do not apply to your use of our App. We do not sell personal information. We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months.

8. Third Party Services

Scripture On The Go does not integrate with any third party services, including but not limited to:

Analytics providers such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or Mixpanel
Advertising networks or programmatic advertising platforms
Social media SDKs or login services
Crash reporting tools such as Crashlytics
Cloud storage or synchronization services
Data brokers or data enrichment services

9. Apple App Store and Apple Platform Services

Scripture On The Go is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple, as the platform operator, may independently collect certain information in connection with your use of the App Store and Apple platform services. Such collection is governed exclusively by Apple's Privacy Policy, available at apple.com/privacy. ARK Foundry Group LLC has no control over and accepts no responsibility for Apple's data practices.

10. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13 in the United States or under the age of 16 in the EU/EEA. The App is safe for users of all ages. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and applicable international children's privacy laws.

11. Data Security

Because we do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, traditional data security obligations do not apply to our handling of your information. All data you create in the App resides on your personal device and is protected by Apple's device security mechanisms including device encryption and passcode protection.

12. International Data Transfers

We do not transfer personal data internationally because we do not collect personal data. No cross-border data transfers occur in connection with your use of the App.

13. Data Retention

We retain no personal data. All information created within the App is stored locally on your device. You may delete this data at any time by uninstalling the App. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored App data is permanently removed from your device.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARK FOUNDRY GROUP LLC, ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PARTNERS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF CONTENT. ARK FOUNDRY GROUP LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

THE BIBLE CONTENT PROVIDED IN THE APP IS FOR PERSONAL, NON-COMMERCIAL USE ONLY. ARK FOUNDRY GROUP LLC MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR SUITABILITY OF THE BIBLICAL TRANSLATIONS PROVIDED.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ARK Foundry Group LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the App or your violation of this Privacy Policy or any applicable law.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which ARK Foundry Group LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.

18. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the App or App Store update notes.
